At WCBS-FM, New York, Max became a major player in the overnight ratings war.  “All Night Radio,” with its personality driven and listener interactive format, won key demographics for "CBS-FM," making Max Kinkel (later known as “The Max Man”) a star.  Not one commercial on “All Night Radio” was considered a bonus.

After 13 years with “CBS-FM,” Max moved cross-town to AOR station WXRK (“K-Rock”). His “All Night Radio” audience followed him... and so did the ratings!
