Countless New York area listeners tuned to WCBS/FM and Max Kinkel to help get them through week nights.  From dark to dawn, Max is a favorite with "Third Shift" workers and early morning executives.  His eye-opening personality reached even the weariest of overnighters with a style and pace that is anything but sleepy.  Max Kinkel delivered the advertiser's message to influential WCBS/FM listeners before they got caught up in the day's whirlwind.

With a record 8.8 share... Max Kinkel single-handedly dominated the tri-state overnight airwaves and still holds the longest record as New York's original "All Night Radio" personality.  CBS-FM Program Director Joe McCoy congratulated Max Kinkel by personally signing this 1994 Arbitron report with the phrase: "Rockin & Rollin all-nite long with the Max Man! Way to go!"
